Green Aid

As a step to guide Sri Lanka towards an organic food pattern from early ages; We, Leo Club of University of Moratuwa stepped up and organized the project Green Aid.

The project Green Aid was initiated to deliver compost bins to Muthuwadiya Wisuddaramaya Viharaya along with few garbage bins, planting bins and seeds and an awareness program on proper garbage disposal. Green Aid was successfully launched on 7th of August 2022 from 9:00 am onwards.

The project's overarching aim was to enhance public knowledge of composting and its value while also offering answers to society's ongoing garbage problems through efficient waste management and effective waste use.
