The 19th Installation Ceremony of the Leo Club of University of Moratuwa was held on 18th September via the zoom platform.

At the ceremony, we proudly introduced the “Leo Scroll” app for island-wide Leo clubs. Through this app, we can access project details, post-project details of all the Leo Clubs in Sri Lanka.

Leo scroll will track ongoing and upcoming Leo projects of island wide Leo clubs to notify you as a reminder. By installing this app you'll be able to get notified & remind other projects as soon as possible.

ESPEIODELA 3.0

ESPEIODELA 3.0 is the best platform for the Leos to add value to their knowledge. This quiz competition was organized by the Leo Club of Panadura Alubomulla, Leo club of Segies, Leo club of Southern metro, Leo club of Polgasowita, Leo club of Sri Jayawardanapura, Leo club of Kesbawa, and the Leo Club of the University of Moratuwa. The host club for the month of September was the Leo club of Segies Campus.

This competition was held on 20th September 2021. In that competition, they checked the knowledge of Sinhala literature of the contestants. Leo Upeksha Hansani from Leo Club of Saegis Campus won first place. Leo Amangi Umayangana and Leo Eshani Panamulla won 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.

This was the end of the 3rd phase of this competition. Next month they will meet contestants with a new topic!

දිනෙන් දින කාර්යබහුල වන ජීවන රටාවත් සමඟ ක්‍රමයෙන් සාරධර්ම ගිලිහී යන වත්මන් සමාජයේ පවතින නිසි අවධායට ලක් නොවූ තවත් එක් ගැටලුවක් පිළිබඳ සිය අවධානය යොමු කරමින් ඊට පිළියමක් සොයනු වස් මොරටුව විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයීය ලියෝ සමාජය ගන්නා වෑයමකි, නොනිමි සෙනෙහස ව්‍යාපෘතිය.

අප කුඩා කළ සිටම "වැඩිහිටියන්ට සැළකීම" යහපත් සාරධර්මයක් ලෙස උගත්තද, විවිධ හේතූන් මත වත්මන් සමාජයෙන් මෙම ගුණධර්ම ගිලිහෙමින් පවතින බව අපට අසන්නට ලැබෙන ඇතම් පුවත් වලින් මොනවට පැහැදිලි වේ.

මේ හේතුවෙන්, දැයැක් තැනීමට දායක වූ දැනට තම දිවියේ සැඳෑ සමය ගත කරමින් සිටින අපේම ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ පුරවැසි පරපුරෙහි සුරක්ෂිතභාවය තහවුරු කිරීමත්, වැඩිහිටියන්ට සැළකීම උදෙසා සමාජය දිරිමත් කිරීමත් අරමුණු කරගනිමින් ජනප්‍රිය කලාකරුවන්ගේ අදහස් දැක්වීම් ඇතුළත් කෙටි වීඩියෝ පට මාලාවක් තුළින් සැප්තැම්බර් මස 10වන දා සිට සෑම සිකුරාදාවකම UoM Leos YouTube නාලිකාව ඔස්සේ ඔබේ හදවත් ආමන්ත්‍රණය කරන්නට නිමවූ අනඟි තෝතැන්න "නොනිමි දිවිමඟ අමිල සෙනෙහස -  නොනිමි සෙනෙහස" ව්‍යාපෘතිය, මොරටුව විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයීය ලියෝවරුන් විසින් අපේම මව්පියන් වෙනුවෙන් තම යුතුකම් ඉටු කිරීමට ගන්නා උතුම් වූ ප්‍රයත්නයකි.

අපගේ මෙම වෑයම සාර්ථක කරගැනීමට, විශිෂ්ට කලාකෘති ඔස්සේ ජන හදවත් වැළඳගත් දක්ෂ සුවිශේෂ කලාකරුවන් රැසක් ඔබ දැනුවත් කිරීම උදෙසා සිය වටිනා අදහස් සමඟින් අප සමඟ අත්වැල් බැඳගන්නා අතර එම වීඩියෝ පට මාලාවේ පළමු දිග හැරුම ඔස්සේ පසුගිය සැප්තැම්බර් 10වන සිකුරාදා දින ප්‍රවීන ගී පද රචක බන්දුල නානායක්කාරවසම් මහතා ඔබ ආමන්ත්‍රණය කරන ලදි.

මොරටුව විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයීය ලියෝ සමාජය, බද්දේගම ක්‍රිස්තු දේව බාලක විද්‍යාලය සමඟ, අන්තරායකර  ඖෂධ පාලක මණ්ඩලය හා පොලිස් මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය නාශක කාර්යංශයේ දායකත්වය ඇතිව, මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය නිවාරණය පිළිබඳ  යොවුන් පරපුරේ දැනුවත් භාවය ඉහළ නැංවීම උදෙසා මාර්ගගත ක්‍රමවේදය ඔස්සේ වැඩමුළුවක් පසුගිය සැප්තැම්බර් 11 සහ 12 යන දෙදින පවත්වන ලදී. 6 සිට 11 දක්වා ශ්‍රේණි වල සිසුන්ගේ සහභාගිත්වයෙන් පැවැති මෙම වැඩමුළුව ජාත්‍යන්තර කථක, උපදේශක, ආචාර්ය රනිල් සුගතදාස මහතා , පොලිස් පරීක්ෂක , ස්ථාන භාර නිලධාරී (පුහුණු) , S.M. ප්‍රේමරත්න මහතා , අන්තරායකර ඖෂධ පාලක ජාතික මණ්ඩලයේ ප්‍රවීන දේශිකා , P. රත්නායක මහත්මිය, ප්‍රවීණ මනෝවිද්‍යා උපදේශිකා  S.D.K.විමලසිංහ මහත්මිය, අන්තරායකර ඖෂධ පාලක ජාතික  මණ්ඩලයේ ගරු සභාපති, විශේෂඥ වෛද්‍ය ප්‍රියංගි අමරබන්දු යන මහත්ම මහත්මීන්ගේ සම්පත් දායකත්වය ඇතිව

වැඩමුළුවට සමගාමීව චිත්‍ර ,කවි හෝ නිසදැස් , කථික හා ප්‍රශ්න විචාරාත්මක යන තරඟ කාණ්ඩ යටතේ තරඟ පැවැත්වෙන අතර ඉදිරියේ දි ජයග්‍රහකයින්ට වටිනා සහතික පත්‍ර පිරිනැමීමට ද සූදානම් කර ඇත.

දිනෙන් දින මත් රකුසාගේ ගොදුරු බවට පත්වන යොවුන් පරපුර ඉන් මුදවා සොදුරු අනාගතයක් වෙනුවෙන් පෙළගැස්වීමට ගත් ප්‍රයත්නයක පළමු අදියර එලෙස සාර්ථක අයුරින් නිමාවට පත්විය.

YouCREATOR

 YouCREATOR is one of the initiatives intended for the youths of Sri Lanka by the Leo Club of University of Moratuwa. It was organized as a two-day virtual workshop on September 4 and 5, with the assistance of the following experts in the field.

The key aim of this event was to enhance the YouTube content creation strategies of the young audience in order to create a lasting perception of their YouTube excursion. The workshop was a great success with over 1200 attendees on both days. We extend our heartiest gratitude to the overwhelming support of our guest speakers.

සංස්කෘතික රාමු වලින් තොරව සාමය හා සහජීවනය පෙරදැරි කොටගත් සමාජයක් බිහිකිරීම දැක්ම කොටගෙන මොරටුව විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයීය ලියෝ සමාජයේ මීලඟ වෑයම, යාළු with யாழ் ලෙසින් දියත් කෙරුණි.

මාතර රාහුල විද්‍යාලයීය ලියෝ සමාජය හා මානිපේයි පැරිෂ් ලියෝ සමාජය සමඟ එක්ව දියත් කරනු ලබන මෙම ක්‍රියාදාමයේ මූලික පරමාර්ථය වූයේ  විවිධ දේශපාලනික හා සමාජීය ගැටලු හේතුවෙන් දුරස් වූ සිංහල හා දමිළ මිතුරු සබඳතා යලි ඔප්නංවාලීමයි .

උතුරත් දකුණත් යා කරමින් පේදුරු තුඩුවේ සිට දෙවුන්දර තුඩුව දක්වා සහෘද හදවත් එක් කිරීමේ අරමුණින් සෙනෙහසේ පණිවිඩය සහෝදරත්වයේ ලිපිනයන් වෙත යොමුකරන පෑනේ මිතුරන් රැසක් බිහිකිරීමට මෙතුලින් ඉඩ හසර විවර වනු ඇත. 

අදියර කිහිපයක් ඔස්සේ ක්‍රියාත්මක වීමට නියමිත මෙම ව්‍යාපෘතියේ පළමු පියවර පසුගිය අගෝස්තු 31 වනදා සාර්ථකව සනිටුහන් කරන ලදී. 

Elite Leos

Elite Leos, An extension of the arms of brotherhood.

Elite Leo was an event conducted by the Leo Club of University of Moratuwa, to welcome new prospects for the Leo family.

As former Leos were having a great willingness to share their experience, it created a wonderful opportunity for the newly formed young leaves of the UoM Leo tree.

The event was held on 30th of August, from 7.00 P.M. onwards with many fun events. 

Elite Leo was a great chance for the prospects to improve their skills & gain self-satisfaction in collaboration with a loving brotherhood. It gave them space to learn from experts, how to start their journey as a Leo to fulfil the duty to society.
