Hearts Beat

The project 'Hearts Beat’ was organized by Leo Club of University of Moratuwa targeting to make the society aware of Dialog star points. Also the aim of this project was to help construct a new facility in Lady Ridgeway Hospital.

In the first two weeks of December, UoMLeos were connected with the Little Hearts fund which collaboratively works with Lady Ridgeway Hospital and Dr. Duminda Samarasinghe helped a lot to make this project a success. Members of Leo Club of University of Moratuwa visited tuition classes from around different cities of the country to make them aware about Dialog star points and to collect them. Most of the teachers supported us in making this project more successful. We covered nine districts and about 100,000 students from Galle, Gampaha, Matara, Jaffna, Hambantota, Kalutara, Kandy, Kurunegala and Colombo.

And also we were able to reach up to more than 300 people in social groups. In addition, in the final week of December, we shared a small video clip on how to donate points to the ‘Little Hearts’ fund. With all of our efforts the project ‘Hearts Beat’ became a great success.
