Beyond Borders project held as a virtual session on 12th August 2025 was an inspiring international youth initiative organized in commemoration of International Youth Day. Organized by Leo Club of University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in collaboration with partner Leo Clubs including Leo Club of New Tinsukia, Leo Club of Jorhat Heritage, Leo Club of Nagaon City, Leo Club of Doomdooma Tea City and Leo Club of Diphu Aspire, this joint effort aimed to empower young leaders and promote mental well-being.
The session was enriched by the presence of two distinguished speakers. Mr. Anderson Kriubaharan, a former software engineer, public speaker and content creator, delivered valuable insights on empowering the next generation, advancing innovation and inspiring active participation in today’s world. Leo Lion Ritwik Bhawsinghka, Multiple District President of Leo Multiple District 322, addressed the vital topics of youth mental health and key aspects of leadership encouraging participants to embrace resilience and responsibility.
The project created a safe and inclusive platform for meaningful discussions while also contributing to unity, cross-cultural exchange and global awareness. The impact was evident not only on participants but also on organizers who enhanced their skills in leadership, digital literacy and teamwork. The overwhelmingly positive feedback highlighted the project’s success. Ultimately, Beyond Borders stands as proof that youth collaboration can transcend boundaries to create lasting change.
