Dream in Motion

“Dream in Motion” is an inspiring project organized by Leo Club of University of Moratuwa to support young children from primary schools who possess the potential to excel in sports but are unable to participate in further competitions due to the lack of proper sports equipment.

The project was conducted on 22nd December 2025 at Kananke Primary School, where the Leos met children who demonstrated enthusiasm and strong motivation to develop their sporting abilities but were limited by the absence of adequate equipment.

During the event, the Leos handed over essential sports equipment to the children. Their enthusiasm and excitement were truly heart-warming, as they were finally given the opportunity to enhance their skills through proper equipment and structured practice.

With access to the necessary resources, the children were able to practice with confidence and improve their abilities through regular training sessions. Beyond developing their sporting skills, they also strengthened their confidence and determination to succeed in life.

“Dream in Motion” served as a reminder that sometimes all a child needs is a small push to move closer to his or her dreams. The success of the project was made possible through the dedication of the Leo members and the valuable support of the school staff, who collectively contributed to creating a meaningful experience for the children.
