Another annual event organized by Leo club of University of
Moratuwa, Beach Cleaning campaign held this time also at Mount Lavinia beach.
Mount Lavinia beach
is world famous beach & attracts thousands of tourists annually. With it’s
high attraction it has been vulnerable to environmental problems caused by the
irresponsible behavior of local & foreign tourists.
We, UOM Leos conducted this beach cleaning session in
collaboration with the Central Environmental Authority of Sri Lanka on 25th of
October 2014.
