This is the selection period of Engineering undergraduates for their in plant training. Level 3 undergraduates are applied for either private o
r government firms. They have to make their own CVs and face to the interviews done by companies. If one interview fails they must have to take another.

LEOs of University of Moratuwa has realized the need of a proper guidance to make CVs, also the need of a proper confidence of undergraduates for a successful interview. As a result ‘THE FIRST STEP’ was arisen.
The ENTC 1 auditorium of University of Moratuwa was selected as the place. The workshop was held by level 4 students con
tributing a lecturer from the Carrier Guidance Unit- University of Moratuwa. Presentations were made regarding the CV writing and several activities were done which were regarding interview facing.
About 100 level 3 students were participated for this workshop. They could cross the FIRST STEP for better 
inplant training.
