BURN LESS – SAVE MORE

Conservation of electrical energy
can help to lessen pollution and reduce the
greenhouse gas emissions. At home,
simple actions such as turning off lights and unplugging computers or turning
off televisions can help us reduce our consumption and thereby conserve energy.
The energy survey, “Burn Less - Save
More” is organized by UoM Leos together with Leo Club of Central College, Piliyandala
and Leo Club of Presbyterian College, Dehiwala, with the intention of having
a
comprehensive analysis on energy usage of Colombo-South householders from 18th
of February to 17th of April 2018. The initial stage of the project
was successfully held on 18th of February. We hope that the project
is a way forward to the energy conservation, which is an essential need of
today.
