International Dogs Day is celebrated on 26th August. It is observed to celebrate all dogs, irrespective of their breed. There are many street dogs around the world suffering from hunger and seeking love. International Dogs day is to raise awareness about dogs, all over the world.
Because of the covid-19 pandemic situation, many street dogs are suffering from a lack of food. So it is needed to pay them kind attention.
‘’FEDO FEAST’’ was an island-wide food distribution project which was organized by the Leo Club of University of Moratuwa, to provide food for street dogs on behalf of International Dog Day.
The project, FEDO FEAST was held on 27th August 2021. The aim to satiate the hunger of innocent street dogs was successfully done with everyone’s support.
