Golden Netz- Indoor cricket tournament was organized for the
2nd time on behalf of the multiple district council by UoM Leos
jointly with 10 other Leo Clubs representing all the districts of Leo multiple
district 306. Event was held on 2nd November 2014 at Fingara Indoor
Cricket Academy, Boralesgamuwa.
Presence of Leo leaders including Multiple District
president Anju Panditharathne graced the occasion. Project chairman Leo Themiya Bandara introduced the rules
and regulations of the game to participants before the battle begins.
After lots of close battles team representing Leo Club of
Nawala Metro emerged as the winners beating the team represented Leo Club of
Piliyandala. Not only were the teams, but also best batsman, best bowler,
man of the final match, man of the series awarded at the awarding ceremony of
the event.
